The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), has rolled out the drums to celebrate one of the Security agencies’ frontline mouthpiece, Superintendent Route Commander Olabisi Esther Sonusi, who clocks 50 on Saturday.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Eric Elezuo, on behalf of the Association, Sanusi is described as a seasoned and accomplished Officer,who knows her onions on the job, and performs her duty with a human face on and off uniform.
“On behalf of the president, Mr. Samson Oki and the entire members of the Association, I wish you the best as you celebrate your arrival on the fifth floor.
“You have been a beacon of light in your chosen field, mentoring and encouraging all that you come across in the line of duty.
“We make bold to say that you are one of the few officers, known to think out of the box in the performance of their duties, as well as have a penchant for always acting with a human face on and off uniform.
“While we wish you the best of celebrations, we pray for your long life in health and wealth to continue to give the best of services to your fatherland, Nigeria,” the statement stated.
A graduate of Marketing from the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikeja, and M.Sc. holder in Transport Management (Logistics) from the Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Osun State, Sonusi is “Highly accomplished and results-driven professional with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).”
She is “Recognized for exceptional leadership, outstanding contributions to road safety and public relations, and a strong commitment to promoting safety ideals. Adept in strategic communication, public education, and community engagement. She also has a Proven track record of delivering exceptional results, commendations, and awards for meritorious service.”
Reputed as the voice of “Eagle Eye” on Inspiration 92.3FM and RayPower 100.5FM traffic correspondence, where she dishes out traffic updates, Sonusi is a recipient of several awards including the NAOSNP Special Recognition Award of Excellence in Road Traffic Management and Education.
