His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa
Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, the Pastor of the largest Celestian stream, has urged Celestians to keep God’s temple holy and shun malice, hypocrisy, and deceit in their dealings as captured in 1 Peter 2: 1-3.
Reverend Oshoffa gave the admonition while dedicating the newly built cathedral of CCC Indianapolis in the United States on Saturday.
The Pastor, who noted that it is only through imbibing holiness and humility that Celestians can witness a more supernatural power of the Lord, further warned against desecrating the holy temple, saying God’s wrath is always inflicted on those who destroy his holy temple.
Quoting 1st Corinthians 3:16, the Pastor said: “Children of God, rejoice in the Lord for keeping you alive to witness such a day in God’s presence. You enter into a spiritual house to offer a sacrifice of praise. The sanctuary of the Lord is holy. And our heart is the temple of the Lord. Or don’t you know that you are the temple of the Most High God?
“You are God’s Holy temple. And in worshipping Jehovah, the heavenly bodies say, Holy Holy Holy is the Lord, God of Host. This means you have to worship God with total reverence and humility. Look at the cathedral that you are dedicating to God. David also intended to build this kind of edifice for God, but he could not because his hands were soaked in blood.
So the Lord said it is his son (Solomon) that will build the house for Him (Lord). Solomon was a beloveth of the Lord because his hand had not shed any blood like his father. Let us be an embodiment of the Holy Spirit. When you embrace holiness as you enter into this new cathedral, God’s glorious presence will quickly manifest itself in your midst. You will undoubtedly experience a strong power of the Holy Spirit, especially when you dwell in love and nurse no grudge against one another (1 Peter 2: 1-3).”
“This is the temple of the Most High and it must be kept in holiness. Whoever destroys God’s temple shall be destroyed too. So, let’s keep the temple holy. So that God’s glory can manifest greatly in our lives. Holy is the Lord. As long as we are alive, let’s fear the Lord and worship Him with true love. I implore you to return to the Lord. From the children and youth to the elders, you all should turn to the Lord and dwell in His love. So that we all can continue worshipping Him in the glory of His holiness and thereafter become partakers of the glorious home waiting for us in heaven.
Therefore, I say turn unto the Lord. When you do this, all things become new (2 Corinthians 5: 17). Let us strive to become new creatures and to be with the Lord so that He can be with us all the time,” Reverend Oshoffa added.
While the Pastor thereafter carried out an anointment exercise for Celestians in the parish, he is also expected to hold crucial meetings aimed at strengthening unity and peace in the C.C.C. USA Diocese and grace the Adult Thanksgiving Service of the parish in their newly dedicated cathedral today (Sunday) before he departs for Region C, California State.”
