APC NEC: OMOLE CONGRATULATES GANDUJE AND BASIRU ON THEIR EMERGENCE AS PARTY NATIONAL CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY, RESPECTIVELY.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Director of the defunct APC PCC Diaspora Directorate, Prince Ade Omole, has congratulated the former Governor of Kano State, H.E Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Former lawmaker representing Osun Central, Senator Basiru Ajibola, on their affirmation as National Chairman and National Secretary of the APC at the party’s just concluded 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) session in Abuja, Nigeria.

Prince Omole, in a statement shortly after the new executive members took the oath of office in Abuja on Thursday, said he was happy the party’s NEC meeting was successful, despite initial anxieties and divergent interests and opinions of members over what they considered the best way forward.

He congratulated the new National Chairman, H.E Abdullahi Ganduje and the National Secretary, Senator Basiru Ajibola, whose elections were ratified at the NEC meeting. He wished them success in repositioning APC as Africa’s indisputable number-one political party.

He urged the new national officers to look beyond the various opposition expressed by individuals and groups to their aspirations ahead of the convention, saying it was expected in any democratic setting. He also urged them to hit the ground running by reaching out to aggrieved party members and running an inclusive administration.

“Hearty congratulations to our great party’s newly elected national officers. Their election at this crucial period in our national politics has undoubtedly placed enormous responsibility on them.

“I do not doubt that they will succeed in the task ahead, given their pedigree as resourceful men of proven integrity, ability and capacity.

“I congratulate our newly elected national chairman and the new National Secretary and wish them a successful and impactful tenure that will remain quite unforgettable in the annals of the history of our great party, APC and country in general.

“I am confident that the new party leadership will support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and his “Renewed Hope” administration in his efforts to drive Nigeria towards economic growth, development and prosperity. Omole added.
