Damenews Since the appointment of the new Acting GM LASTMA, Mr Bakare Oki there seems to be some positive news about LASTMA and this is commendable.
A member reached out to us on Environmental Lagos Platform few minutes ago to narrate her experience with some LASTMA Officers and expressed her gratitude to the agency for the human face adopted.
The member coming from Badagry axis and to connect Sanya missed her way and found herself on Iganmu bridge.
While still trying to find her way,she unknowingly made a U-turn at the first turn on Iganmu bridge instead of the second turn.
The LASTMA Officers there stopped her that she has violated a traffic offense.
She began to panic and the officers calmed her down to know where she was going to.
She explained to them and they directed her on where to make U-turn in case of next time, at the same time she was guided by the officers on how she can connect Sanya.
This came as a surprise to her as the officers were more on corrective measures rather than being punitive.
