A condolence letter from His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, was delivered to the widow of the deceased.
In his condolence message, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa stated that;
“We are indeed grateful to God for giving us this worthy vessel of honour who dedicated his life to the service and worship of the Lord in the Celestial Church of Christ.
We acknowledge that God is God who does all things well. His love is unconditional and his promises are true. He has promised a place of peace and rest for those who love him and seek to do His will. When we reflect on the spirit filled earthly sojourn of our brethren, Venerable Superior Evangelist Victor Babatope Williams, we know that he is a recipient of that great promise.
To the family he left behind, we ask that you accept with Christian submission the will of God. While we know that his presence will be missed, we commend you to place yourselves in the arms of our loving and merciful Father.
Furthermore, we encourage you to pray to be able to continue the work of the Lord which is of eternal significance, knowing that when the day comes and our eyes shall also close in death, that we too would have done that which the Lord has ordered for our lives.
And finally, on behalf of the Oshoffa Family, the Board of Trustees, the Pastor in Council and indeed the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, I send this message of condolence and pray that the Lord grant him eternal peace and comfort the family he left behind. Amen.”
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints; for whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
Funeral arrangements would be announced later.
