In furtherance of its efforts to ensure that substance abuse is prevented and treated through evidence-based measures, members of the International Society of Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Professionals (ISSUP) Lagos Branch on Monday 17th July paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba, Lagos.
Led by the Lagos State Branch Coordinator, Mrs. Titilope Ogunluyi, the international organization of professionals were received by the Managing Director, Dr. Olugbenga Adekile Owoeye;
Medical Director, Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Yaba Lagos; ISSUP Southwest Coordinator, Dr. Jumoke Koyejo; Dr. Arit Esangbedo, and Mrs. Harrit Igbinoba.
National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP gathered that one of the outcomes of the successful meeting was the provision of hospital facilities by the Hospital Management to host Lagos Branch ISSUP meetings. This effort will enable the professionals to have hands-on recovery support and treatment while also advocating for prevention.
