The Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, has beamed his searchlight on a number of very salient issues affecting the church and has issued fresh directives to reposition C.C.C. W/w.
In a memo addressed to all Heads of Diocese, all State Evangelists, all Shepherds and indeed the vast membership of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa acknowledged the labour of love of all stakeholders in the Lord’s vineyard and prayed that this would be duly rewarded by Almighty God.
His Eminence called on all Heads of Diocese, State Evangelists and Shepherds to prepare for a meeting which would be convened in the not too distant future, noting that the meeting would either hold when he visits each Diocese or would hold in Nigeria whenever he sends an invitation to each Diocese to meet with him. The meetings, according to the Spiritual Head of C.C.C. W/w would focus on stoking the embers of unity and cooperation in all Celestial Church parishes worldwide.
All State Evangelists are hereby notified that the arrow head of the C.C.C. Task Force Corps, VSE Firmin Akinbode Adjovi, would soon embark on a nationwide tour which would start in Lagos State and dovetail into other states of the country. State Evangelists are to prepare a report of their activities and stewardship in the last one year in anticipation of this appraisal visit.
Note that such appraisal would also include all provinces, divisions, dioceses, circuits and units within the jurisdiction of the State Evangelist.
Furthermore, non-dioceses that have illegally claimed the status of a Diocese and are neither under the umbrella of the Imeko/Ketu authority are also directed to return to the Imeko/Ketu mainstream within the next three months after the issuance of this directive. Any group that breaches this directive must be prepared to drop the name and the logo of the Celestial Church of Christ, as the Celestial Church of Christ International is duly registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria under the appropriate law and covered by our constitutional right to protect it from any illegal violation.
Particularly, Prophets and Prophetesses in the habit of plowing their trade on the social media and portraying the Celestial Church of Christ in very bad light must also desist forthwith.
Also, notice is hereby given to all Prophets and Shepherds (Senior Evangelist, Superior Evangelist, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist and Venerable Superior Evangelist) that a verification exercise of their certificates of anointment would begin very soon. Such certificates would be collected from them and returned after formal auditing and verification. State Evangelists would play a pivotal role in collecting these certificates and presenting them to the |Chairman of the C.C.C. Task Force Corps, VSE Firmin Adjovi, during his visit to each state.
We call on all Parochial Committees to rein in members of their parishes from speaking for the Celestial Church of Christ on social media. Such needless, uncensored, unprofessional, unwarranted and oftentimes reckless representations do no good to the corporate image and public perception of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. The church has a Media and Publicity Unit headed by a thoroughbred professional in person of Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, who also has the mandate to act as the Spokesman of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Subsequent violations of this directive would not only be resisted by the church authority but would also attract strict sanctions.
Lets all join hands to make C.C.C. better.
May the Lord continue to shine His light on our path. Amen.
